Before 90-Days Booking Rules in Kanha National Park

The current tiger reserve was once ruled by the Gondwana dynasty, a tribal empire that controlled regions of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra in central India during the 18th century. Until 1879, the Banjara community and the valley inhabitants of Gondwana preserved this area purely as a forest. Later, in 1933, it was declared a wildlife sanctuary and reserve forest. The site officially received National Park status on June 1, 1955. Subsequently, Kanha National Park was designated as a tiger reserve in 1973. In 1973, the Indian government launched a tiger protection project primarily aimed at conserving the Bengal tiger population. As a result, the Indian government included nine national parks in this Bengal tiger conservation project, with Kanha National Park ranking at the very top due to its high population of Bengal tigers. That’s a main reason tourists come here to see a Royal Bengal tiger or also a Bara Singha (swamp deer), but it depends on our luck whether we see tigers or not, but when we take proper preparation to visit here, that makes a simple or better experience in Kanha National Park.

Book Your Permits Early

Whenever you are thinking or planning to go to Kanha National Park, get your jeep or coach booked 90 days before going to the park. Safaris can be booked online from the portal of the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department. Many resorts also offer safari bookings along with the accommodation reservations. It is always wise to make bookings in advance, especially during peak seasons, to get safari slots as per your preferences. It is very difficult to choose your favorite safari, gate, or zone at the last minute. Whatever is available at the last minute, we have to ask for the same. So, getting early permits and booking hotels in advance—these things make our trips even simpler so that we don't have to worry at the last minute.

Match Your Stay with Your Gate

Last-minute bookings create a problem; that's why you should book your safari 90 days early and also the main things so that when you book your safari, you complete your hotel booking and save your time to explore the wildlife activities or beauty of nature. Hotels booking in Kanha totally depend on your own choice of whether you stay inside or outside of Kanha National Park. If you want to choose to stay inside of the hotel, then use an official booking website, MPSTDC (Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation); select your destination, specific date of travel, member's ID proof, and then payment. Other than that, if you want to choose an outer side, you use the MPSTDC website or a third-party website also for booking.

Prepare for Early Morning Cold

Mainly people came here to see Bengal tigers, but it is also good for those people who want peace in a good environment, especially in the monsoon time. The Kanha National Park area hits like soil smell in morning safari time, Evening View. When you come in the wintertime in the morning, the view will win your heart, as will the little bit of sound of the many types of birds. The best time to visit Kanha National Park is from November to February, the winter season. The weather is pleasant during this time, with sunny days and mild cold nights, making it ideal for a safari.

Silence Experience

When you enter the park at the official gate or zone, whatever you chose, especially that time when you visit in the early morning time mainly in winter, when you see the tiger in front of you, when you are with your driver or guide and he informs you of something, or in the evening time in any season, you feel a better silence experience, and that is a very different experience in Kanha National Park
